Operations Command Center is the custom operations platform Mirastart runs itself on: clients, invoices, Stripe payments, recurring billing, bookkeeping, reports, and a role-aware client portal in one system, replacing the fragmented tools a technology business otherwise stitches together. The invoices clients receive, the payment links they pay, and the portal they sign into all come out of this build.

The challenge

Client records, billing, recurring invoices, payment links, expense tracking, reports, and portal access all depend on one another. Managing those workflows across disconnected products creates duplication and weak visibility. Off-the-shelf tools each solve one slice - a billing product here, a CRM there, a bookkeeping export somewhere else - and the gaps between them turn into manual work every week.

The solution

The command center unifies client management, invoice creation and delivery, Stripe payments, recurring billing, bookkeeping, reports, business settings, and role-aware portal access. The system is designed around the workflow rather than the limitations of an off-the-shelf tool: recurring billing runs on schedule without a human trigger, payments reconcile against their invoices, and each client sees exactly their own slice of the system.

What we built

Invoice lifecycle

Invoices are created, delivered, paid through Stripe payment links, and reconciled against their payments in one place - no export between a billing tool and the books.

Recurring billing

Runs on schedule without a human trigger; a missed month is a system failure, not a forgotten task.

Role-aware client portal

Each client signs in and sees exactly their own slice of the system - invoices, payments, and documents - and nothing else.

Bookkeeping and reports

Expense tracking and reports come out of the same records the invoices do, so the books reconcile from first invoice without a spreadsheet in between.

Where it landed

The command center is not a case study written after the fact - it is the system this business administers itself with, from first invoice to reconciled books. When Mirastart proposes custom software to a client, this is the working answer to "do you use your own?"
